INFANTE DON HENRIQUE Ship Review

INFANTE DON HENRIQUE Overview
At 246 feet in length, CroisiEurope’s Infanti don Henrique could be thought of as a scaled-down version of the line’s popular Danube and Rhine river cruisers. After all, she features the same basic interior and exterior design, packaged in a way that allows her to traverse Portugal’s Douro River through the famed Douro River Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the epicenter of Port Wine production.
INFANTE DON HENRIQUE Staterooms

A total of 71 staterooms are available aboard the Infanti don Henrique, which can hold a maximum of 142 passengers. The vast majority of cabins are twins that can be converted to a double bed, with five set aside as fixed double beds.
Staterooms located on Upper Deck feature French balconies with sliding glass doors, while staterooms on Middle and Lower decks feature fixed picture windows. The size of windows on Lower Deck staterooms vary slightly from those on Middle Deck.
Each stateroom features a private bathroom, hairdryer, safe and a satellite television set.
INFANTE DON HENRIQUE Public Areas

Infanti don Henrique features a main Restaurant located all the way forward on Main Deck. Meals are served buffet-style for breakfast, with a set menu that changes daily for lunch and dinner. The Restaurant has a noticeably more modern feel than some of Vivaldi’s earlier sister-ships, with trendy chairs, tables and fixtures.
One deck up, the ship’s Main Lounge features 180-degree Panoramic windows offering views of Portugal’s Douro. With a full-service bar, it’s a great place to relax and enjoy newfound company.
On the Sun Deck above, guests can admire the passing views of Europe’s most storied waterways with outdoor deck space that stretches from bow to stern.
