BELLE DE CADIX Ship Review

BELLE DE CADIX Overview
Belle de Cadix – or La Belle de Cadix, depending on your source – sails along the Guadiana, the Guadalquivir and the Atlantic coast for CroisiEurope. Because she ventures out into open waters, she’s arguably part cruise ship, part river cruise vessel.
Constructed in 2005, Belle de Cadix is 361 feet long and is capable of carrying 176 passengers in 88 staterooms. The ship was refurbished in 2010, and today boasts an attractively nautical interior design, along with functional and welcoming staterooms.
BELLE DE CADIX Staterooms
Each of the 88 staterooms available aboard Belle de Cadix are nearly identical in size and amenities. Their main differences lie in their physical placement on the ship’s three passenger decks.
Staterooms on Upper Deck feature French balconies, while those on Middle Deck have fixed windows with an upper portion that can open to let in the fresh Spanish air. Those staterooms situated on Main Deck feature porthole windows due to their location near the ship’s waterline.
Each stateroom includes a private bathroom with shower, toilet and sink/vanity area; a hairdryer, personal safe and a satellite television set.
CroisiEurope has also set aside one stateroom on Middle Deck for those with disabilities, conveniently located adjacent to the ship’s main Reception Lobby.
BELLE DE CADIX Public Areas

Belle de Cadix features a main Restaurant located all the way forward on Main Deck. Meals are served buffet-style for breakfast, with a set menu that changes daily for lunch and dinner. The Restaurant has an intimate feel and encourages a social atmosphere, with a variety of table sizes.
All the way forward one deck up, on Middle Deck, is the Main Lounge aboard Belle de Cadix. This features 180-degree panoramic windows that look out on the stunning scenery passing by. With a full-service bar, it’s a great place to relax and enjoy newfound company. The Lounge also features a decently sized dance floor that becomes well-used as the night wears on.
One deck higher, on Upper Deck, is the ship’s Panorama Bar. Located all the way aft, it is flanked by an outdoor terrace that is the perfect location for a pre-dinner drink.
On the Sun Deck, located one deck higher, guests can admire the passing views of Europe’s most storied waterways with outdoor deck space that stretches from bow to stern.
