Highlights from the rebuilds that took place this past winter include reducing the number of cabins/guest to 80/159 (Scenic Ruby and Pearl) and 82/163 (Scenic Jasper, Opal, Amber, Crystal, Jade and Jewel) while adding four more crew; a new 520 ft² Royal Owners Suite; larger wellness centers which include the gym, massage services, and hair dresser; and a Salt Therapy lounge. The company has also installed a still and bubbly refillable water station on each ship for guests wishing to use reusable bottles as the company moves towards eliminating single-use plastics.
On-board yoga and stretching classes, more active excursions such as bike tours on the company’s e-bikes, and hiking in scenic landscapes round out the new experiences for guests.
The new Royal Owner’s Suite offers walk-in closets, separate bathtub and showers in an oversized bathroom, a private bedroom and a large living room. The walk-out balcony allows guests to take in the landscapes while enjoying butler-delivered drinks and meals.
