With the release of AmaMagna approaching sooner and sooner, it is important that we keep up with everything else that is going on with AmaWaterways’ fleet. From eco-friendly designs to featured offers; here is what is going on with AmaWaterways right now.
AmaMagna and Eco-Friendly Ship Designs
World Rivers Day has just passed, so it’s the perfect time for AmaWaterways’ to share its continued commitment to the preservation of rivers. Responsibility towards the environment is the foundation on which AmaWaterways’ ships are built, and eco-tourism is one of the top priorities that drives AmaWaterways’ engineering by president and co-founder, Rudi Schreiner. Environmentally conscious design elements on the fleet include LED lighting, insulated windows, solar heating system, and more. Recently, AmaWaterways announced the phasing out of plastic straws, providing more eco-friendly paper straws to guests upon request. There is more to come in the future as AmaWaterways’ focuses on these very important issues – not just on World Rivers Day, but on every day.
