Securing airfare from North America to Europe to take part in a river cruise along the Danube, Main or Rhine can be a stumbling block for many people. Avalon Waterways wants to help take the pinch out of high airfares by offering a $400 per couple airfare credit on its 2014 European river cruises.
The credit applies to European river cruise bookings made with Avalon on or before January 7, 2014, so there’s still time to take advantage of this offer. The credit, naturally, applies to Economy-class airfare booked through Avalon Waterways on new bookings only. And you must secure your booking with a standard deposit.
If you’ve been on the fence about a European river cruise next year, getting $400 off your airfare certainly doesn’t hurt.
Avalon offers European river cruises that traverse the Danube, Rhine, Main, Moselle, Seine, and the gorgeous Rhone and Saone rivers. The company is also preparing to launch three brand-new ships next year, and increasing its special-interest cruises by 30 percent next year. These include diverse options ranging from voyages that celebrate the 70th Anniversary of D-Day to itineraries focusing on wine, golf, beer-tasting and overall wellness.
