Barely a month after Scenic Tours announced the expansion of its Scenic Club Loyalty Program to the U.S. market, the line is already rolling out another tier to reward its most frequent guests: Scenic Club Emerald.

The uppermost tier of Scenic’s Club Loyalty program, Scenic Club Emerald status will be awarded to guests who have taken 15 trips, or who have travelled a total of 250 days with Scenic Tours.
Scenic Tours General Manager of Sales and Marketing, Michelle Black, said: “After speaking with our past guests at recent loyalty events, we discovered there were many who had undertaken an extraordinary number of tours and had reached the maximum tier level. We realized the growing need to reward these most experienced guests with some exclusive additional benefits, so we have introduced Scenic Club Emerald.”
In addition to the benefits of Gold, Platinum and Diamond status, Scenic Club Emerald guests will receive perks like a dedicated email address, a sterling-silver lapel pin and branded leather documentation wallet, and pre-tour gifts like full-size suitcases.

Aboard Scenic’s river cruises, guests will also receive multiple access to the line’s invitation-only Chef’s Degustation table known as Table la Rive; fine dining in Portobello’s restaurant, and vouchers for the ship’s Wellness Center and laundry service. Emerald members will also receive hotel upgrades, welcome home gifts, and other amenities.
Like hotel or airline perks, Scenic’s new Scenic Club program offers several tiers of membership, with guests benefitting following the completion of their first trip when they are awarded ScenicClub Gold status.
One level up, ScenicClub Platinum will add some unique perks, like complimentary limousine transfers before and after your cruise and complimentary pre-and-post hotel stays. Special log-branded carry-on and full-sized luggage is included for guests at this tier. This tier is awarded to guests who have completed either five week-long tours, or tours that collectively have spanned 50 days.
At the 100 touring day mark (or ten tours of seven days or more), ScenicClub Diamond will, naturally, include the benefits of the previous tiers, but with the inclusion of exclusive events, gifts and other perks. These include the choice of complimentary luggage or gift card; a unique ScenicClub Diamond backpack, and expanded chauffeur-driven limousine services.
The program itself isn’t new; ScenicClub was established for the Australian market in 2008 and then expanded to include New Zealand residents in 2010.
