Europe plays host to a seemingly endless array of river cruise options, but perhaps none are as revered as the Tulip Time voyages. Typically offered between March and May, these springtime river cruise itineraries are designed to showcase the natural beauty of the Netherlands, a country renowned around the world for its friendly people, tolerant attitudes, and beautiful flowers.

Of course, travelling with AmaWaterways is a unique event unto itself. The line’s high standard of service, coupled with popular features like complimentary wine, beer and soft drinks with dinner; complimentary bottled water replaced daily in staterooms; complimentary first-run movies and WiFi internet access; and a variety of complimentary tours ashore geared to both active and casual travellers means enjoying yourself won’t be an issue onboard your river cruise ship or ashore.
So don’t discount these Tulip Time cruises, and be sure not to wait to secure your own space onboard. Due to their continued popularity and limited sailing window, these itineraries often fill up fast!

We took the AMA Tulip Time cruise in late April and it was fantastic! We will never see as many tulips in our lives again as we saw in Keukenhoff and the flower fields. Also had Belguim waffles, chocolates & ale on their new culinary tour. Great fun!
